Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (Everett, WA)

Shift : 3x12 or 4x12 Day Shifts (06 : 00 – 18 : 30)

Facility Type : Level II Trauma Center | Level III Obstetrical Unit

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery / Postpartum RNs for a high-volume, fast-paced unit This facility averages 400+ births during peak months and relies on seasoned travelers to support a relatively green core staff. Candidates must be confident in both L&D and Postpartum care and able to float between like units as needed.

Requirements

Experience : Minimum 2 years in L&D / Postpartum

Certifications (All Required) :

• ACLS
• BLS (AHA)
• AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Advanced or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• NRP

Skills : Must be proficient in SVE, high-risk deliveries, couplet care, C-section recovery, fetal monitoring, and newborn assessments.

Charting System : EPIC

License : WA RN or Compact RN (Pending license accepted)

Local Candidates : Not accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility)

First-Time Travelers : Accepted

Scheduling & Expectations

Shift : Day shifts (3x12 or 4x12)

Weekends : Typically every other weekend; may vary due to staffing needs

Holiday RTO : Not permitted; must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Floating : Required between L&D and Postpartum units

Orientation : 3 days (Mon–Wed of first week)
