Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, where you will be involved in the full life-cycle design and development of electronic products. Your responsibilities will include requirements definition, circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and potential embedded firmware development.

Responsibilities

Select design components and define electronic product requirements.

Conduct design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.

Test and validate design implementation, including potential failure mode inspection analysis.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure parameters are met.

Provide engineering expertise to design and develop electronic products.

Collaborate with small teams or work independently to complete projects.

Interact with internal and external customers to ensure project alignment.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of experience in full life cycle product development.

Proficiency in Altium Designer is required.

Experience with digital and analog electronics, microcontrollers, and PCB / PCBA layout.

Ability to work in a team and interface with customers.

Experience with C programming language.

Experience with AC / DC systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with wireless communication systems and radios or power supply.

Embedded firmware experience.

Medical device experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Northfield, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00 / hr.
