Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005 (Chicago area) Assignment Length : 12 weeks (December 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Medical / Surgical Unit Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM), 36 hours per week Schedule : Sunday–Saturday work week; every other weekend required Holiday Requirement : Must be available for 2 of the 3 major holidays Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs (Endeavor branding only) Orientation : 6 hours with EPIC EMR test out on day shift Estimated Weekly Pay : $1770–$1900 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience in an acute care facility Proficiency with EPIC EMR (must pass test out) Ability to float to other Medical / Surgical units as needed Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse med / surg patient population, including those with sepsis, pneumonia, and alcohol withdrawal Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
