About the Role

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Manager, you will be in charge of crafting and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical client in Raritan, NJ. This is an onsite role Monday-Friday in Raritan, NJ with no travel.

What You'll Do

Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence team members, and ensure compliance. Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency. Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements. Track operational and safety risks. Develop and manage strategic risk management strategies to avoid potential incidents. Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports. Provide recommendations on how to prevent risk. Monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental regulatory compliance within the account. Work with management to develop strategic solutions that improve and maintain compliance as required. Work with customers to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. High level of client interfacing and relationship management. Additional certifications as required by the local authority. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information and convey performance expectations. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
