American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with WA or compact license, Level 1 trauma and neuro experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities
\n
Work in a 25-bed Level 1 Trauma Center Operating Room at a teaching and Magnet hospitalDay shifts, 3x12 hours, Saturday through Monday, 6 : 45am-7 : 15pmTypical case load of 60-70 per week with high volume ortho, spine, and neuro surgeriesWill not work on cardiac or transplant casesEpic EMR is used; experience preferredMedication system used is PyxisTravelers may be assigned 2-4 charge shifts per month, including some weekendsNo on-call or floating required within the hospitalFacility provides scrubsPrimary duties involve circulating in the OR for various surgical specialties except cardiac and transplantOrientation consists of 5-6 hours of modules plus Epic module during on-site orientationTravelers should expect to work at least one major holiday, with a preference for working ChristmasMaximum of 6 days of requested time off allowed, with specific holiday blackout dates and no RTO during orientation weekFirst-time travelers are acceptedParking is available on-site for a daily fee or at an offsite garage with shuttle service weekdaysTeam-based environment with supervisory supportMust pass an EKG exam with a score of 80% or higher prior to start\n \n

Active WA or compact RN license required; compact license holders must apply for WA and complete suicide prevention trainingMinimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required, including Level 1 trauma and neuro OR casesBLS certification requiredExperience with Epic preferred but not mandatoryCirculating skills in a Level 1 trauma center requiredCOVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exceptionsMust not have been employed at the facility within the past 18 months\n
