Accounting Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to support federal auditing and internal control management.

Key Responsibilities :

Apply expertise in healthcare auditing, federal finance, and financial systems

Conduct performance audits, compliance assessments, and support internal control / audit projects

Prepare reports and assist with special projects, including the development of business process cycle memos

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience supporting audit projects

Prior experience with audits per Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and non-GAGAS

Experience with compliance assessments related to healthcare and internal controls

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
