Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 26 / 2025 – 1 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Weekly Hours : 36 hours guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,310–$2,470

Unit Beds : 11

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1, 1 : 3

Electronic Medical Record : EPIC

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, mother-baby postpartum, obstetrics / surgical care, and Level I newborn nursery

Required certifications : BLS, NRP, EFM

Completion of Relias education modules (as required)

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed (support roles only)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns

Assist with C-sections, gynecological / surgical patients, and newborn nursery care

Utilize Intellispace Perinatal Fetal Monitoring and EPIC EMR for patient documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety

Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
