Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Pricing team in the Lending Organization, with focus on our Credit Card business. This is an exciting role for someone looking to make a direct impact on the revenue and profitability of SoFis Credit Card business.

Responsibilities

• Design and run A / B tests and controlled experiments to evaluate the impact of pricing, offers, and messaging strategies on acquisition, usage, credit risk and profitability.
• Utilize advanced analytics to monitor credit card performance, identify pricing optimization opportunities (e.g., APR structures, fees, and offers), and make data?backed decisions that improve profitability and user experience.
• Work closely with cross?functional teams including Risk, Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and Product to ensure successful design, testing, and implementation of pricing initiatives from concept to launch.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to assess credit card pricing trends, promotional offers, and customer preferences to inform product positioning.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, and drive improvements based on these insights.
• Collaborate with the Pricing Data Science team to build and enhance analytical models that inform pricing decisions such as elasticity, profitability, sensitivity, and optimization models to support business strategy and improve financial outcomes.
• Ensure that products meet customer expectations and are positioned to deliver maximum value and satisfaction.
• Lead pricing and product development initiatives, mentor team members, and communicate effectively with senior leadership to drive business outcomes.
• Analyze product feedback, usage data, and performance metrics to drive continuous product iterations and improvements.
