We're hiring a Greenskeeper for University Club of Kentucky!

Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and nurturing our grounds. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Beginner Greenskeepers are welcome while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
