About The Position

Must-Have :

• Chest x-rays
• Long bone x-rays
• C-arm experience
• Surgical patient support
• Portable experience
• Limited fluoroscopy experience

Description :

60-bed facility with a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Requires COVID vaccination.

The facility features 2 diagnostic beds, 1 fluoroscopy room, and likely no fluoroscopy for the 3rd shift.

Ideal candidates should have a strong background in imaging.

The patient types include inpatient, outpatient, ED, and primarily adults, with some pediatric cases.

The typical patient ratio is 1 : 1.

Support on the unit includes transport from 7 AM to 9 PM, and radiologic technologists are available 24 / 7.

Hospitalists are present 24 / 7 as well.

The charting system used is EPIC, with medication dispensing via Pyxis.

Preferred experience includes PACS McKesson, Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and diagnostic rooms with Canon plates.

Floating responsibilities may include work throughout various areas for portable imaging, including the operating room and emergency department.

Scheduling for this position is Monday through Thursday from 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM and Friday from 12 : 30 PM to 9 : 00 PM.

Holiday work may be required during winter holidays.

Time-off requests are subject to manager approval.

The role will involve collaboration with one other technologist during shifts.

Scrub color is flexible.
