Quality Engineer (1084148)

The Judge Group is in search of a Quality Engineer for a machining company in the west suburbs. Join a well-established company with outstanding year over year growthy. In this role you'll implement the quality control system and procedures to improve quality and productivity. Identify areas for improvement while applying engineering methodologies and implementing new procedures.

This job will have the following responsibilities :

• Provide recommendations to improve quality and productivity
• Explore opportunities to improve products and processes
• Participate in lean manufacturing activities such as Kaizen events, 5S, 8D, Preventative Maintenance programs, RCA, 5-Why and other tools for enhancing productivity
• Manage and lead internal quality audits
• Maintain quality compliance and certification as well as internal and external audits
• Train employees on the proper tools and techniques to maintain compliance
• Conduct quality and inspection testing
• Perform DTA testing, CPK analysis, FMEAs and PPAPs
