Contracts Specialist

This position can be based in any of the following locations : Salt Lake City, UT, Goleta, CA, Fall River, MA, Northampton, MA or Millersville, MD.
Qualifications :
- Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities and self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with interpreting, drafting and negotiating commercial contract terms
- Microsoft Office Suite - high level of proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with any or all of the following : FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS, WAWF, DIBBS, PIEE, CPAR
- Experience and success with managing commercial and government contracts of all types (FFP, CPIF, CPFF, FPIF, etc.)
- Experience in a Customer facing Contracts role to both US and international commercial contracts as well as USG DoD contracts
- Experience in providing business, contractual and risk mitigation strategies to support the needs of the program
- Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including, contracts administration, proposal preparation and close-out
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations
- Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationship, provide RFP shaping / analysis and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy
- Negotiation experience
- Demonstrated business acumen / finance experience
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills are a must
- NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc) are a strong plus
