Job Title : Lead Switchgear Technician

Location : Henrico, VA

Summary :

Responsible for leading daily switchgear production, resolving technical issues, improving workflow, and guiding technicians across shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead daily production and provide feedback to technicians.

Communicate daily plans and resolve production or customer issues.

Coordinate staffing and support budgeting.

Monitor material shortages and work with Purchasing.

Track NPI, pre-production, and rework work.

Address scrap / quality issues and halt work when needed.

Work with Test Support and Maintenance to fix equipment problems.

Maintain communication boards and ensure smooth shift handoff.

Support process improvements and cost-saving efforts.

Qualifications :

High school diploma; technical training preferred.

4+ years manufacturing or switchgear assembly experience.

Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read diagrams and follow complex instructions.

Basic math skills (rate, ratio, percentage, graphs).
