Quality Inspection Supervisor

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, this is a position of both technical and managerial leadership. The QC Supervisor must have balance between a tactical and strategic approach to issues and solutions within the disciplines of Metrology and Receiving Inspection will establish and maintain continuous improvement of processes that uphold product and process quality throughout the production value streams and support services.
To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- 2 year technical school degree, with 4 years or more of directly related experience with Quality Inspection or
- High School, GED or formal training equivalency, with 7 years or more experience with directly related experience with Quality Inspection.
- Knowledgeable in metrology and simple and complex inspection practices, tool and gage application, piece part function and product application.
- Strong working experience with the Quality requirements of parts, products and processes, including supporting activities.
- Must be able to communicate concisely and clearly, both verbally and in writing and be able to substantiate a position on recommended changes, dealing with personnel from several levels in the company.
- Understanding of AS9100 is required.
- Leadership experience.
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Plan, lead and manage the Metrology and Receiving Inspection Teams, which are comprised of Metrology and Receiving Inspectors.Provides a measurement of supplier, operator, management and system compliance to Moog, customer and government requirements in an efficient and economical manner that motivates good quality attitudes in production, supervisory, and support personnel.The metrology function should coordinate and provide calibration services using both internal resources and outside procured resources.The Receiving Inspection function plans workloads and assigns jobs as required to maintain high quality standards and production schedules.Implement company policy and assure compliance of Moog Systems and procedures to customer, government and regulatory requirements.This position requires frequent contact with personnel both inside and outside the Quality organization, to build and maintain close working relationships with Moog Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, Value Stream Managers, Quality Control, and the Materials Team. Contact with external vendors and customers requires critical interpersonal skills.How We Care for You :

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
