The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Distribution Project Manager”
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of distribution operations, experience with labor standards, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects while aligning with supply chain goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, quantify, and communicate improvement opportunities across the distribution network.
- Lead and manage the implementation of process improvements and operational changes.
- Develop, document, and maintain best practices to ensure standardization and consistency.
- Act as a liaison between store support groups and Distribution Centers (DCs) to align performance and operational goals.
- Provide functional support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including labor management, slotting, and reporting tools.
- Analyze, measure, and report on DC performance using established KPIs and metrics.
- Build and maintain staffing and workforce planning models to support labor forecasting.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Distribution Center management teams based on performance data.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.Master’s degree preferred.Required Skills and Experience :
Strong experience in distribution or supply chain operations.Proficiency in performance analysis, reporting, and interpreting KPIs.Solid understanding of labor standards, WMS, and incentive programs.Ability to lead projects and collaborate across multiple departments.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Benefits :
