Position Overview :

Optigy is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join a well-supported, low-volume emergency department in a critical access hospital in Central Texas. With a welcoming team, streamlined transfer options, and the flexibility of 12- or 24-hour shifts, this opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a balanced lifestyle and meaningful community-based practice just outside of Austin and San Antonio.

Emergency Department :

ED Volume : 10,000 annual visits

ED Beds : 5

Daily Volume : 30 patients / day

Staffing Model : 12- or 24-hour single-coverage shifts (physician-only)

Support : 2 nurses per shift

Trauma Level : IV

EMR : Cerner

Qualifications :

o ABEM or board certification in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

Compensation : $165 / hr (W2)

$205 / hr (1099)

Sign-On Bonus : $60,000

CME / BEA : Annual allowance

Employment Models : W-2 and 1099 available
