Social Worker- Hospice- 40 Hours - Days

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

· Master of Social Work degree required.

· Must be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· ACSW and previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

· Demonstrates understanding of the impact of involvement, personal attitude toward illness, handicaps, death and loss, on the quality of patient care and staff effectiveness.

· Knowledgeable of the basic medical procedures, terminology, etiology and disease process associated with the illnesses of the client population.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

· Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Social Worker (LMSW).
