Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers, drive sales, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
• Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure merchandise is well-stocked and organized
• Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently
• Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth store operation
• Follow company policies and procedures, including loss prevention techniques

Reliable Appliance was founded in 1995 by Michael Rounds. The company began with only two employees for the first five years. The company stayed small, but demand pushed for growth and since 2000 it has been on a constant rise, employing now over 40 employees. Since the beginning, Reliable Appliance has kept a strong goal to provide the highest level of service, the largest selection of products, and the most competitive prices. Reliable Appliance is a value driven business that believes in strong relationships, taking care of the customer, superior service, eco-friendly, and lasting trust. In 2019, Michael sold the company to his son Logan Rounds, Kyle Mirka, Darin Williams, and Kenny Petersen.

Since 1995, Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees, and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska.
