As a Precision Quality Assurance Inspector, you will analyze statistical data to safeguard product quality and long-term reliability. You’ll move seamlessly from first article inspections to in‑process audits, ensuring every build meets engineering intent and customer expectations. We’re hiring for both first and second shift roles.
A Day in the Life
Your day begins by reviewing control plans, material routings, computer printouts, and Pareto charts to target the highest‑impact checks. You’ll :
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) using customer-supplied documentation, completing all required records with precision.
- Work independently, guided by detailed procedures, forms, and manuals to achieve consistent outcomes.
- Audit in‑process work, evaluating operator performance and process adherence to the specifications outlined in material routings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas; collaborate with engineering and management to define quality and reliability standards.
- Test parts and products for dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
- Capture and analyze test results, applying statistical quality control methods to drive decisions.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED plus 5 years of related experience / training, or a comparable blend of education and experience.Proficiency in GD&T, and proven experience in both quality inspection and quality control.Tools of the Trade
Regular use of precision measurement instruments, including calipers and micrometers.Shifts
