Are you a skilled automotive technician looking for something beyond the traditional shop? Long-Lewis of Hoover is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing team — a unique opportunity to bring top-quality service directly to our customers at their homes or workplaces .

This full-time role offers competitive flat rate pay ($20–$45 / hr) and the chance to take your career on the road while still working within a supportive, high-performing team environment.

What You’ll Do :

Travel to customer locations (homes / worksites) in a fully equipped company vehicle

Diagnose and perform on-site repairs or maintenance services

Advise customers on next steps for more complex issues, if needed

Work on a wide range of makes and models

Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction

Represent the Long-Lewis brand with pride and excellence

What We’re Looking For :

1+ year of experience in dealership or high-volume repair facilities

Strong knowledge of various makes / models and solid diagnostic ability

ASE Certification (preferred)

Ford and / or Lincoln FSA Certifications are a plus

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary auto training is a plus

Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and communicate effectively

Professional appearance, customer-first mindset , and a strong work ethic

Physical stamina to meet the demands of an on-site, hands-on role

Compensation :

$20–$45 per hour (Flat Rate), based on experience and certification
