Campus Security Officer- Security

Description :

• Patrol the hospital, parking areas, and hospital grounds
• Investigate unsecured doors, gates, vehicles and buildings
• Accompany visitors and staff to parking areas when requested
• Open doors, gates, vehicles and building for authorized personnel
• Monitor / operate Closed Circuit Television (CCTVs), two-way radios, telephones, fire enunciator system, and equipment alarms
• Operate / maintain motor vehicle
• Maintain assigned equipment
• Enforce parking and traffic policies
• Assist motorists with vehicle problems (dead battery, flat tire etc….)
• Investigate traffic accidents
• Perform package inspections
• Respond to and investigate alarms
• Assist staff with patients when needed
• Assist staff if confrontational situations arise
• Respond to Emergency Codes
• Assist law enforcement as needed
• Complete incident reports
• Write concise and factual shift reports
