The Quality Engineer will ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. To analyze inspections data and improve the quality of products and processes. Identifies areas of opportunity, then develops, and implements solutions to systems, processes, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve quality issues by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure inspections criteria meet customer requirements and internal specifications within the data collection system (InfinityQS).
- Organize customer requirements and validate internal specifications meet requirements.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and maintain quality standards.
- Supporting ongoing and new product development including process, mold, and machine qualifications.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality manuals.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with GFSI and other relevant standards.
- Follow control of non-conforming ware and communication procedures.
- Manages Quality Alerts log in order to analyze effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Review, update, and create formalized Process Instructions, forms, documentation and reports.
- Verify use of documents on the production floor; implement changes / updates as needed
- Defect identification – create library of defects for reference
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED education required.One to three years of relevant work experience preferred or 2+ years of engineering coursework successfully completed.Proven experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.Experience with plastics preferred.Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.Strong communication, computer, problem solving, and decision-making skills required.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.J-18808-Ljbffr
