Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Construction

Looking for a Lead Superintendent to oversee a ground up multifamily build! Join a firm with 100+ years in business.

About Our Client

My client's is one of MA's most established General Contractors! Office is based North of Boston, 100 years in business, projects all across the Greater Boston area and into southern New Hampshire. Team size : 40. Diverse project portfolio across multifamily, mixed-use and corporate commercial. Very well tenured employees & low staff turnover. Competes with many of the area's largest multifamily builders but offers a smaller, tight knit working environment.

Job Description

The Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Construction will :

  • Manage on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to align construction activities.
  • Oversee adherence to safety regulations and quality standards at all project stages.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Resolve conflicts or challenges that arise during construction to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Construction should have :

  • Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality residential projects within deadlines.
