Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences, UCSF

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a creative, collaborative Assistant Professor to join the Center for Reproductive Sciences (CRS). We welcome applications from exceptional early-career scientists poised to build an independent, high-impact research program advancing fundamental and translational discovery in reproductive and developmental biology. We are broadly interested, with particular strength in : germline and early developmental biology; placental / implantation biology; reproductive aging; multi-omics and functional genomics; computational biology / AI; and translational diagnostics / therapeutics. The successful candidate will benefit from UCSF's world-class core facilities (genomics, imaging, single-cell, computational), vibrant graduate programs, and strong basic-clinical partnerships across campus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and lead a rigorous, externally funded research program.
• Build cross-disciplinary collaborations within CRS and across UCSF.
• Teach and mentor graduate students, postdocs, and (as appropriate) residents / fellows.
• Contribute to program development, service, and an inclusive, equitable research culture.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$170,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. UCSF Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences has a total salary plan that uses National benchmarking standards to set salaries by subspecialty.
