Production Planner, Logistics

As a Production Planner, Logistics, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our packaging, engraving, warehousing, and shipping operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll own planning processes with a moderate level of autonomy, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements and strategic logistics initiatives that keep Leatherman at the forefront of the industry.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain production and packaging schedules aligned with forecasts, materials, and labor capacity.

• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and carriers to ensure seamless operations.

• Keep ERP data accurate (Microsoft D365 F&O preferred) by managing BOMs, labels, customer notes, and inventory settings.

• Lead documentation efforts for standard work, playbooks, and safety procedures.

• Generate performance reports and KPIs using Microsoft Office, Power BI, Atlas, and Dynamics AX.

• Act as a key contact for building access control (alarms and security procedures).

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years in logistics, planning, or manufacturing, with strong ERP experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and Power BI reporting.

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.

• Strong independence, organization, and mentoring skills.
