Senior Project Analyst (Financial Performance)

The Senior Project Analyst (Financial Performance) plays a key role in supporting the effective management of the FCO budgets by focusing on financial reporting, data analysis, and variance resolution. Working closely with the Manager and Senior Consultant, the role ensures that accurate and timely financial information is available to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making. The Consultant provides detailed analysis, investigates variances, and partners with stakeholders to resolve issues, contributing to the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial performance reporting.

Main Responsibilities

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.

High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficiency with financial systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

Prepare regular financial performance reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with governance standards.

Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, explaining trends and identifying underlying causes.

Work with business stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies in reported figures.

Support the Financial Performance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.

Maintain and update financial datasets to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.

Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from the Manager, Senior Consultant, and other stakeholders.

Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce reporting errors.

Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and / or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

Ensure all financial data handling complies with internal controls and audit requirements.
