We are actively hiring for a Folder Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA

Shift : 3rd Shift - 9 : 30PM - 6AM

Pay Range - $18 to $24 - Depending on Experience

Position Summary :

The Folding Operator is responsible for the set-up, adjustment and operation of the different types of folding machines (continuous and pile fed). The Folding Operator will follow the specification from the gang sheet to determine what kind of fold will need to be done . While running the folding machine, the Folder Operator will ensure that each folded job meets the gang sheet specifications in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.
• Place printed jobs on folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.
• Observe the folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run.
• Replace worn out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
