Title : Technical Document Coordinator

Location : Wilson, NC

Experience : 4+ years

Job Summary :

The Technical Document Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate technical review and approval of engineering documents across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument & Control, Civil, Structural, and Architectural. The documents include Vendor Turn Over Packages (VTOPs), Trade Turn Over Packages (TTOPs), drawings, and P&IDs. This role ensures that all documentation meets quality standards and supports project completion milestones.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform technical review of turnover package documents, raise comments, and ensure timely closure.

Review and approve documents across all engineering disciplines.

Coordinate document review and approvals with stakeholders, including Engineering, C&Q, Maintenance, and Automation teams.

Expedite resolution of queries and comments arising from document reviews.

Manage documents electronically, ensuring no paper-based tracking.

Adhere to project schedule targets, particularly for Mechanical Completion (Green Tag) and Commissioning & Qualification (Blue Tag) phases.

Upload documents progressively to the electronic system to maintain workflow efficiency and prevent bottlenecks.

Track progress using KPIs, including document submission timelines, review and approval status, and percentage completion of each VTOP / TTOP.

Maintain an Issue Resolution Tracker for potential issues or delays.

Ensure accurate and complete upload of all turnover packages to the document management system.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Strong understanding of engineering documentation and document control processes.

Experience with Autodesk and PIMS.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in data management and reporting.

Experience with Document Control, Engineering Administration, and managing large-scale projects.

Construction Trade Turnover Package (TTOP) experience is mandatory.
