Job description

The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California seeks a full-time Neurologist with subspecialty training in Epilepsy. The position is primarily dedicated to supporting the epilepsy program at the Keck Hospital of USC and its affiliates. The USC Comprehensive Epilepsy Program is certified as a Level IV Epilepsy Center and serves as a tertiary referral center for an extended network of hospitals in Southern and Central California.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct in-patient and out-patient care specific to epilepsy and epilepsy surgery.
  • Continuous bedside video / EEG monitoring of patients in the EMU and ICU.
  • Training fellows, residents, and medical students at Keck School of Medicine.
  • Opportunities for translational research in the affiliated USC Neurorestoration Center.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Board eligible / certified in Neurology.
  • Completed fellowship training in Epilepsy.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
  • The position offers a competitive salary with excellent university benefits, and an academic appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications at the Associate or full Professor level at the USC Keck School of Medicine. The annual base salary range for this position is $235,000-310,000.
