A well-established Georgia-based general contractor with a strong, steady pipeline of public and private projects is seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage ground-up and renovation projects across the Southeast. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and with the highest level of quality, while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all onsite construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specificationsCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field staff to maintain schedule and budget goalsConduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirementsMonitor work quality, perform regular site inspections, and proactively address deficienciesFacilitate project meetings and provide timely updates to project managers and ownersMaintain daily logs, manage RFIs and submittals, and ensure accurate project documentationCollaborate with project managers during preconstruction and scheduling to ensure project readinessRepresent the company professionally with owners, architects, inspectors, and community stakeholdersQualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferredEquivalent experience will be considered for candidates with strong industry backgroundExperience :
3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial, institutional, or municipal projectsDemonstrated success leading projects from mobilization to closeoutKnowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction sequencing for public facilitiesBackground in ground-up and renovation work, including MEP coordination and interior finishesTechnical Competencies :
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore experience highly valued)Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawingsStrong scheduling skills and familiarity with CPM scheduling methodsBenefits
