What you’ll tackle
- Guide multi‑facility capital projects through every phase : development, design engineering, installation, commissioning, startup, and handover.
- Plan and synchronize design reviews, schedules, construction / installation activities, commissioning milestones, and documentation.
- Hold the line on scope while managing scope changes through formal change control.
- Run risk reviews and mitigation plans to keep delivery predictable.
- Scrutinize drawings and proposals for completeness and technical accuracy.
- Lead competitive bid evaluations; manage third‑party vendors; schedule services and site work.
- Own the Project Action Register and drive accountability across contributors.
- Coordinate with adjacent projects and cross‑functional partners to unlock synergies.
- Champion safety requirements and propose improvements that reduce risk in the plant.
- Execute disciplined closeout so the right deliverables are in the right places before project completion.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with equipment performance and services, while meeting schedule / budget and delivering long‑term business results.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
BSc or equivalent 4‑year degree (or equivalent experience); engineering degree preferred.2+ years in automation or the engineering services sector.2+ years managing complex projects with measurable outcomes.Demonstrated success implementing large‑scale automation.Experience applying robotic automation methodologies; familiarity with robotics, AGVs, and enabling technologies.Background developing new concepts / designs within fast‑moving, collaborative teams.Strength in customer relationship management and indirect leadership of diverse contributors.Deep understanding of PM best practices, including critical path analysis, customer focus, and change management.Comfort working in manufacturing, industrial, and construction environments; willingness to work nights and weekends if needed.Additional proficiency areas
