Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with

Opportunity Details :

Attend to a direct patient panel of adult primary care patients

Ensure patient / provider continuity and access to timely and appropriate levels of care.

Educate, mentor and supervise residents and medical students

Work collaboratively with mid-level providers

Participate in system-wide performance improvement and quality management projects as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical School and completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine.

Graduate of an accredited Geriatrics Fellowship program.

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or the ability to become Board Certified within 5 years of hire.

Active or pending NYS License.

Active DEA license.

Cultural sensitivity to a diverse patient population required.

Previous experience working with an underserved patient population preferred.

Spanish or Cantonese language proficiency is a plus!

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $236,000

• (board eligible); $241,000
• (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional / per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at ,

$355,120

which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional / per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below :

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional / per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits) :

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.

Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) : Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.

Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based) : Provided at no cost to the employee.

Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.

Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
