Position Overview :

Provive Wellness is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated clinical team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about working with individuals facing mental health challenges, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient setting, including PHP and IOP levels of care.

Key Responsibilities :

Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health status, substance use history, and treatment needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a focus on mental health stabilization, emotional growth, and recovery.

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services using modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care.

Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based groups on topics such as mood regulation, anxiety management, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and case managers—to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.

Conduct crisis interventions and mental health risk assessments, providing referrals and safety planning when needed.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in alignment with professional and regulatory standards.

Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay current with mental health best practices.

Qualifications :

Master’s degree in a mental health field such as Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

Active license in Tennessee (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).

Minimum of 1 year of experience providing mental health therapy, preferably with co-occurring substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.

Proficient in evidence-based mental health treatment modalities.

Strong interpersonal skills and clinical judgment with the ability to support clients from diverse backgrounds.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation requirements.

Experience in higher levels of care (PHP, IOP) is preferred.
