Job description

job summary : Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Oversee job costing, budgeting, and project financial tracking to ensure accurate project cost management.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare necessary financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction accounting.
