Your Role as a Tool Technician
As a Tool Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting our field teams by managing tools and small equipment essential to jobsite productivity and safety. Reporting to the Tool Manager, you'll ensure our teams have the right tools, in the right condition, at the right time.
What You'll Do
- Process tool / equipment orders, deliveries, and returns accurately.
- Assist the Tool Manager with various technical and administrative functions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of tool movement, condition, and usage instructions.
- Coordinate repair or disposal of damaged or broken tools and ensure readiness for redeployment.
- Ensure all tools have required parts and supporting documentation for safe use.
- Assist in scheduled tool inventory counts and audits.
- Help identify the most efficient methods for tool shipments and returns.
- Communicate effectively with the Tool Manager and other teams to support field operations.
- Participate in company-provided training and support safety culture.
- Support continuous improvement by documenting processes and ensuring proper backup support.
What You Bring to the Table
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related occupation.Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.Skills & Competencies
Clear verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems proactively.Service-oriented mindset in support of field operations.Collaborative approach and ability to work across multiple teams.Mathematical & Physical Requirements
Ability to perform basic math including metric conversions.Ability to safely maneuver in warehouse and construction environments.Capability to lift, move, and organize tools and equipment as required.Why Choose Us?
