Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team. This role provides broad exposure to legal matters across the company and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with our General Counsel. The ideal candidate will have two to four years' experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of laws, regulations, and policies relevant to Urschel's operations.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with company goals.
• Support the development and delivery of compliance programs, employee training, and internal communications.
• Assist with litigation management, including discovery, case preparation, document review, and coordination with outside counsel to achieve effective, cost-efficient outcomes.
• Build and apply knowledge in core legal areas affecting the business, such as :

The position is NOT remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana. Urschel employee-owners design and build industrial cutting equipment for companies worldwide from our corporate headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A.
