Position: Activities Aide
Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | 10:45 AM – 6:15 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50 – $17.35 per hour
Azure Shores Rehabilitation is seeking a cheerful, energetic, and compassionate Activities Aide to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bringing joy, creativity, and meaningful engagement to the lives of our residents.
Lead engaging group activities, including cognitive and physical programs tailored to residents’ abilities and interests
Assist with planning and coordinating monthly celebrations and facility-wide events
Organize and support individualized activities that reflect residents’ personal preferences
Ensure resident safety, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate compassion at all times
Supervise outdoor activities and monitor designated smoking areas
Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team to enhance resident well-being
Previous nursing home experience required (2+ years preferred)
CNA experience strongly preferred
Friendly, creative, outgoing personality with a genuine love for working with older adults
Bilingual required: Spanish and Creole
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and basic computer systems
Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
Organized, team-oriented, and dependable
