About The Position

Must-Have :

Pediatric OR experience of at least 2 years

Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and in scrubbing surgical procedures including General Surgery, GU, OHNS, Plastics, Eye, Ortho, and Neuro

Previous travel assignment

Description :

Current California RN license is required.

AHA BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.

Experience in Pediatric OR of at least 2 years is essential.

Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and scrubbing procedures is required.

Experience in General Surgery, GU, OHNS, Plastics, Eye, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery is needed.

Candidates must have previous travel assignment experience.

Certifications such as CNOR and experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery are preferred.

Candidates should be willing and able to float to other facilities as needed.

The work involves caring for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients.

Daily census may vary, and the unit will support various surgical specialties.

Special procedures may include neuro, cardiac, orthopedic, plastics, general surgery, urology, thoracic, gynecology, and vascular cases.

Candidates should be skilled in administration of blood and blood products, central line insertion, and specific surgical procedures.

Essential skills include infection control, specimen handling, wound management, and operating various surgical equipment.

Candidates should demonstrate competency in handling specialized surgical tasks and adhering to universal safety protocols.
