Millwright Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating welding equipment, monitoring processes, and providing assistance as needed throughout the yard.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various processes, including gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and others.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding process to prevent overheating of parts or distortion of materials.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
• Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor.
• Maintain all shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment and replace as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
