Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for night shifts requiring previous travel experience and an Oregon RN license or proof of application.

Job Details

Work in a children's hospital Labor & Delivery unit,
Night shifts : 3x12 hours (19 : 00-07 : 30),
Floating required within the site and across the system,
Care for laboring patients in a pediatric hospital environment,
Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience required,
Weekends and holidays required as needed,
Scrub color is any color except black or camo; scrubs provided for OR / L&D / OB Techs,

Job Requirements

Active OR RN license or proof of Oregon RN license application with fingerprints,

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery specialty experience,

Prior travel nursing experience required,

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring,

EPIC EMR experience required,

MFTI certification preferred,

Must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy facility,

No felony background history accepted,

COVID vaccination required (no exemptions accepted),

Additional Information

Must be willing to float as needed or contract may be canceled,

Travelers required to complete assigned education within one week of assignment,

Mandatory low census cancellation may occur one shift per two-week pay period,

Pre-employment modules and skills testing required,

Must pass EPIC test-out or complete mandatory 8-hour training course,

Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed, and no RTO during the first two weeks,

One charge, supervisor, or manager reference required,

Former staff must have a minimum 1-year separation to be eligible,

Free parking in any unrestricted space,
