Registered Dental Hygienist (Full or Part Time)

Location : Middletown, Old Bridge, Freehold, Ramtown NJ

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting oral health, providing patient education, and ensuring excellent clinical care. We offer flexible scheduling, excellent work / life balance, and open to candidates that can work anywhere from one to five days per week.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) via digital x-ray units.
• Assess and document patients’ oral health conditions, including periodontal status.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with Oakwood Dental Arts' standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and infection control practices.

Qualifications :

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New Jersey.

CPR / BLS certification.

Proficiency in Dentrix and Denticon preferred but not required.

Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral imaging.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
