Atlanta Nursing Job Details Location : Atlanta, GA 30342 (Georgia nursing jobs) Setting : Medical / Surgical Unit (Med / Surg RN jobs) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : January 5, 2026 - End : April 4, 2026) Shift : 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7 : 30am - 6 : 00pm) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay : $1750 - $1790 per week Employment Type : Travel nursing contract Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical / Surgical nursing (Med / Surg RN experience) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia RN license preferred) Current BLS certification Ability to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract Must be willing to commute; no local candidates within 50 miles Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical / Surgical environment Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Atlanta, GA and make a meaningful impact in patient care.
