• Required Renal / Pelvis Ultrasound Skills / Experience : Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal / Bladder, Uterus, Vaginal
• Required Small Part Ultrasound Skills / Experience : Superficial Masses, Testicles / Scrotum, Thyroid
• Required Transplant Studies Experience : Renal
• Required Vascular Ultrasound Skills / Experience : Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Renal Artery Duplex
• Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Management / lead experience

Description :

The General Ultrasound Tech position is for night shifts, working Monday through Thursday.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Certifications required include ARDMS and BLS.

Candidates must have experience with adult patients and emergency room settings.

Essential ultrasound skills include examinations of the abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, and 1st trimester OB / GYN assessments.

The role includes performing procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.

Experience with renal / pelvis ultrasounds is necessary, along with small part ultrasound assessments.

Vascular ultrasound skills covering aorta, carotid, and duplex imaging are also required.

Candidates should demonstrate management and leadership experience along with knowledge of isolation precautions.

No weekend work is required, and float requests are not applicable.

First-timers are accepted, however, pending licenses are not accepted.

RTO restrictions ideally limit requests to no more than 5 days.

The facility is a Magnet designated acute care hospital and maintains a total of 562 staffed beds.

A solid color scrub uniform is required.

Candidates are expected to fulfill the entire assignment without attendance issues.
