About the Role

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Wilmington Health, you will be an integral part of our anesthesia care team, providing safe, efficient, and compassionate anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures in an outpatient setting
  • Monitor patient responses before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and comfort
  • Develop personalized anesthesia plans in collaboration with surgeons and medical staff
  • Utilize regional anesthesia techniques, including nerve blocks and epidurals as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with organizational policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in anesthesia care
  • What You Need

  • Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) & active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
  • Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, anesthesia management, and patient safety expertise
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
