Job Description

Title : Physical Therapist Assistant

Department : Health

Classification : Non-exempt

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide physical therapy and services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Hands-on therapy and exercises to promote mobility, pain relief, strength, balance, and prevent disability
• Provides training to patients, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the Physical Therapist
• Provides therapeutic treatment in accordance with the patients' established plan of care with a focus on functional and measurable outcomes
• Electronic record charting
• Assist in maintaining department performance
• Clean and maintain daily use equipment
• Inventory and stock items as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Supervision : Supervised by the Physical Therapist

Salary Level : Annual Salary Range : $53,601.60 - $78,395.20
