Pediatrics Physician Assistant

NP - Pediatric Opening in NY Warsaw, NY1 hour to Buffalo & Rochester NYFull time, permanent openingWe currently are recruiting for a pediatric NP. Candidate would have to have their NRP certification and be comfortable with assisting in the stabilization of a newborn. Our collaborating hospital would send a team by air if we needed to transport to a higher level of care. We are a small hospital and probably only have 2 to 3 times per hear that intubation takes place and 15 or so times that the team is called in but we do have to have someone on call. Due to the illness of a family practitioner who was part of our call team we have some needs in this area.Wyoming Countys rural nature includes being home to one of the largest and most beautiful state parks in the East (Letchworth State Park which is a 15 mile long park including a number of camp grounds, and miles of hiking trails through which the Genesee River has developed numerous waterfalls and a deep river gorge was voted the # 1 State Park in the U.S. in 2015). Wyoming County is also home to Silver Lake and is near the Upstate New York Finger Lakes Region. In addition to Rochester and Buffalo, major nearby cities include Toronto, Ontario, Pittsburgh, Pa. and Cleveland, OH., each of which is only approximately a three hour drive.Health System is a County-owned facility providing inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, acute, ambulatory, inpatient behavioral health and long term skilled nursing services. It is the only hospital facility in the county and only comparable facility within a 35 mile radius. The catchment area includes approximately 50,000 residents. Healthcare center is currently certified for the following bed counts; Medical / Surgical 40, Intensive Care 5, Maternity, 5, Psychiatric 12, and Skilled Nursing Facility 138.
