JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Description :
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Quality Assurance Test leader to manage a large complex cross functional transformation program. This leadership role is responsible for the preparation, execution, and management of the entire UAT testing process as part of the larger implementation plan for the program. This role will have daily interaction with business and technology teams across several business and technology disciplines to ensure the successful UAT execution as well as to prepare daily summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans. The role will be part of the program leadership team, having responsibility to report progress to the program sponsors, and reports directly to the program manager. Successful candidate in this role must have large multidimensional test lead experience in highly complex technology programs and have senior level skills in working with business and technology leaders to create and execute a comprehensive testing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Quickly develop, communicate, and get approval on a testing strategy and plan
- Develop a comprehensive test plan for a multi-component software implementation in partnership with business & IT stakeholders, consultants and SMEs.
- Collaborate with consulting partners for test cycle execution and management for SIT cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to identify test requirements, validate test scenarios, execute test cases and track defects through testing lifecycle
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing deadlines are met
- Ensure test results are being well documented and testing evidence is captured.
- Monitor, measure, control and report test metrics to measure progress and identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate across workstreams to ensure successful end to end testing
- Oversee the test environment health and that it is connected to required systems to complete the testing.
- Drive standards and best practices in UAT focused on continuous improvement
- Engage in regular communication with business leads to ensure alignment and effective stakeholder management throughout UAT preparation and execution
- Manage the defect process according to the UAT Approach / Plan, promptly addressing critical issues and driving to resolution
- Communicate status to program leadership team and project sponsors
- Direct and indirect management of a team of testers more than people from various locations and time zones (on shore and off shore)
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in software testing, implementation test lead and regression testingProficient in testing tools such ALM, JIRASolid understanding of testing methodologies, test planning and test case designAbility to lead in complex and fast-paced environment collaborating with a broad project teamKnowledge of Oracle Cloud or experience with Oracle Cloud is requiredHorizontal facilitates valuable and productive conversations between you and potential employers. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
