Loss Prevention Security Specialist

Position Summary :

Join our dedicated team as a Loss Prevention Security Specialist where your primary goal will be to safeguard our assets and enhance profitability. You will play a crucial role in preventing and minimizing losses through proactive measures against theft, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and fostering a safe environment for both associates and customers. Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate a Customer 1st mentality by providing outstanding service and encouraging fellow associates to do the same.
• Monitor and respond to potential theft incidents by evaluating external theft suspects.
• Encourage and implement strategies to counteract both customer and associate dishonesty.
• Keep a vigilant eye on areas prone to high loss.
• Communicate incidents of theft or policy breaches to the asset protection manager.
• Enhance relationships with customers and associates through effective communication and training.
• Provide accurate court testimony as required.
• Analyze and identify zones at risk of theft.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies is maintained at all times.
• Champion and embrace company initiatives.
• Be available for flexible scheduling, including shifts, overtime, and weekend work as needed.
• Perform all essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
