About The Position

Must-Have : Critical Care / Angio (IR) Experience
Description : Unit Profile :
The unit has three Angiography Labs, including two dedicated IR Labs and one Hybrid OR.
The patient-to-staff ratio is 1 : 1.
Ideal staffing includes a Lead Tech, RN, ARRT / RTR, and RCIS in three to four person teams.
Type of equipment includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream.
Documentation is done using an EPIC Cupid system.
Scheduling requirements entail four 10-hour shifts with call.
Experience in ICU / ER is required.
Critical care medication management is necessary.
Experience in Angio / IR procedures, including stroke and trauma care is essential.
Common procedures performed in the unit are Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma.
The dress code comprises royal blue and black for RNs and navy blue and black for techs.
Unit policies and guidelines are available upon request.
Awards and recognition include being a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Certified Stroke Center.
It is acknowledged for managing high acuity patient populations.
