Job descriptionInvestigate and respond to insurance inquiries quickly and professionally Research and correct claim errors for clean claim submission Follow up on accounts to secure timely filing and payment Review EOBs, post payments accurately, and calculate allowable amounts before patient statements are approved Initiate appeals when necessary and ensure payments meet No Surprises Act (NSA) requirements Stay updated on payer policy changes and adapt collection strategies Consistently meet and exceed departmental goals 2+ years of medical collections / insurance AR follow-up experience Strong knowledge of commercial payors (BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna, self-funded plans) Familiarity with EOBs, HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT codes Hospital or physician practice experience preferred Out-of-network collections or NSA / IDR knowledge is a plus Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Fully equipped work-from-home setup after training Clear career growth into lead and supervisory opportunities Be part of a rapidly expanding healthcare organization with long-term stability
